Writers in the Round is a writers’ showcase. An intimate event showcasing local song writers. There will be 4 writers each month. The setting is the writers in the middle of the room taking turns talking about their songs, writing styles and writing experiences, and then performing their writings. There will be a 2 sets approximately 3 hours. The audience is asked to refrain from talking during the writers performances.

The Acoustic Jam’s “Writers In The Round” is a monthly event on the last Thursday of each month. Writers prepare 6 original, performance-ready pieces in an intimate setting. They face their fellow writers and perform their pieces acoustically on a rotating basis. There's a conversation between the writers regarding how the song came about including anecdotes from the process. There will be two sets with an intermission. Each writer will perform three songs in each set, with a short Q&A for the audience at the end.
