Johannes Gebauer lives and works in buzzing Berlin. At the age of 10 he discovered his unique sense of rhythm and feeling for beats, and he never since has stopped drumming.

From 1977 onwards he has played the drums in various Rock, Funk and New Wave bands, as well as in several music productions in Heidelberg, Aachen and Berlin.
Johannes is co-founder of the Berlin Pop-Jazz band GATZ GATZ who performed among others during the Jazz in the Garden concert series and the Euro-Rockfestival.
