About
When he isn't working on fronting the fast pace punk band Super Duper Scooper or writing killer riffs for the female fronted rock band Jump Function, Joey likes to sit back and relax to his favorite Damien Rice, Sufjan Stevens, and Iron & Wine records which have greatly influenced him in his solo recordings that are found on his new LP "I'm Here and You're There". Over the past year songs have been written and recorded out the wa-zoo and are now being shared with the masses through Reverbnation.com.
The option of using professional equipment to record the LP was there, but by using bare minimum recording techniques much atmosphere was added to the songs. Through out "I'm Here and You're There" slamming dorm doors can be heard along with supporting sounds of active plumbing which gives the listener a chance to feel in the zone, as if Joey is just playing the songs right in front of you while he is sitting on his bed with his guitar.
