Now some people like their soda in a very big cup.
But if you go to New York City. you are shit out of luck.
Pour more than sixteen ounces there and you get a fine.
That’s the law, brother, and I ain’t lying.
They pour sixteen ounces that’s all you get
By order of the New York City government.
If you want more soda, brother, you gotta go
out to New Jersey or Idaho.
Now Mayor Bloomberg don’t want his people getting too fat.
The Lord done told him he had to do something about that.
He figured out the problem was the soda cups.
They was pouring too much soda. Folks was drinking it up.
Now you get sixteen ounces. That’s all you get.
