“The tracks ‘The Illusion’ and ‘Movin Up’ are the real standouts for me on this release. ‘The Illusion’ suits Joe Man’s voice perfectly and the whole song has a decidedly Nashville feel to it. ‘Movin Up’ was reminiscent to me of a country truck driving song (in a good way of course) and the natural twang of Joe Man’s voice works really well in accentuating the stories in both of these songs.”
