Joe Coffee have been playing music as a group since 2001. The band’s pedigree in the “hardcore scene” speaks for itself, but does NOT speak for the band. Joe Coffee does not play “hardcore”, per se. This is a concious effort. With all the heavy metal in baggy clothes that is not only passed off as “hardcore”, but highly touted and lauded as the greatest “true” music in “hardcore”, it’s enough to turn a veteran musician involved in that scene to travel other avenues of communication. Only, now, instead of having a bunch of fat, sweaty hooligans glomming the front of the stage, you wouldn’t be hard pressed to see a fine young lady up front singing along and shakin’ what she got.
