  The Exceptional Radio Network’s ( www.exceptionalradio.com ) Sounds from the Underground concert series is adding an industry networking event to the department. The LIVE Artist Meet and Greet (LAMG) provides a chance for the artists, businesses and consumers to come together to network and chat it up about business. In addition, selected talent will embrace the stage with performances and a mini listening party of their material. Sounds from the Underground, the hit show, launched on ERN in May 2009 and was envisioned in Summer 2007 during the inaugural year of the network. The show focuses on independent music of all genres from national and international artists. The success of the show has created two spinoff shows, A-Town Rocks and Get It In. A-Town Rocks focuses on Metro Atlanta/State of Georgia indie artists and Get It In focuses on party music from the Hip-Hop, R&B, House, Techno and Reggae genres. This monthly event will be held at Tiempo Privado located at 2865 Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway near interstate 285. Admission is $10 with business card and/or marketing material. Artists who bring music will be admitted for $5 and media with press credentials will be admitted free. In honor of Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, the dress code will be blue. So break out the best blue shirt, pants, dress, shoes, whatever you have and stand in solidarity with our Prostate Cancer Survivors and Victims. “We want people to ‘know blue, stay alive’ when it comes to Prostate Cancer. Come have a great time in your blue gear,” Dominique Huff, CEO/Founder of the Tenth Amendment Media Group said. “We are proud that we are taking the politics out of indie artist scene. We provide them with multiple platforms-radio airplay, performances and media coverage.” The theme of this month will be “Rapper’s Delight”, featuring the best indie hip-hop artists in Metro Atlanta. Future themes include “Rock with Us” (Rock Bands/Artists), “A Touch of Soul” (Soul Artists) and “House Party” (best indie club artists). Patrons are encouraged to dress fly and come to handle business. No Athletic Gear and Saggy Pants allowed! Bring plenty of business cards, promotional materials and lets network!
