“In celebration of the Smithsonian traveling exhibit, Mauney Memorial Library will present a program, “Introducing Kids to Folk Music,” at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Justin Harper, music teacher at Jefferson Elementary School, will present the program. Harper was one of four Cleveland County teachers who were selected to attend a special week-end workshop sponsored by the N.C. Humanities Council on how to share the joys of roots music with children."”
