I'm an active and enthusiastic musician, playing piano, flute and singing since 1980. I have played in several professional bands and orchestras covering styles as diverse as Classical, Latin, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Funk, House and Folk. I studied GCSE and A Level Music and graduated in 1996 from Bretton Hall College of the University of Leeds attaining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Popular Music Studies and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education. I moved from my home-town of Sheffield in 1996 to take up post as lecturer in Music Technology/ Media at Pembrokeshire College, specialising in performance and digital audio recording. As well as my work setting up the recording facilities at Pembrokeshire College, I have set up my own digital recording studio and have also performed in several bands, such as Cicada, Juice On The Loose, Claudia & The Jazz Masters, Zikronic Waves, Nightcrew and Take 2. I joined the teaching team of Haverfordwest Music Academy in 2005 and taught piano, keyboard, composition and recording. I moved to Cyprus in September 2007 to work as a full-time professional musician with my wife, Maria - the other half of our duo - TAKE 2.
