Jimmy Maher kicked off his music career in 1998 at the tender age of 18 with humble beginnings as the lead singer in 'name pending 10' - a colabortion of high school mates (later to be known as 'Jimmy and the Dynamites'). In his first year out of school he picked up a guitar and hasn't looked back.

Having mostly played cover gigs to students in Dunedin pubs Jimmy has lived in Auckland for the past 18 months and is working hard on his own original music.
