Currently residing in Troy, AL, J. Harvey Johnson is new on the music scene. J. Harvey brings a new sound to the scene mixing Folk, Acoustic, a little bit of Comedy and on occasion, an Urban beat to spice things up. 

Born and raised in rural Alabama, J. Harvey, whose first name is Josh, took on Harvey in memory of his paw-paw, who passed when he was first learning to play guitar. Having been brought up in church and playing in the high school band, he was exposed to many different styles of music.

His set list contains a variety acoustic arrangements of covers from James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, Black Crows, Tom Petty, The Fray, Sublime, Doobie Brothers, plus he adds his originals in the mix as well. The door is always open for suggestions.
