“The first official EP released from Jet Noir. After a lot of hard work from this Oxfordshire based female songwriter/ vocalist, these 5 tracks are a mixture of suprising breakbeat loop based tunes and very dark trance. I was expecting a more straight trance tunes but this is the sound that she has written, recorded and reached with the Trance/ Gothic crossover she has developed. Tripp is the only tune reworked from a previous demo and now mastered version and has a Ministry Of Sound touch to it. Chains has a nice simple 80s style synth opening. Fine vocals throughout, Chains has the more up front vocals. The other songs have the vocals more in with the sound than upfront Rain is going back to the more straight upfront trance sound, a bit like Tripp, but darker and nice dark bassline The original soundscape is inspired by 80’s Gothic/synth acts and is a bridge of both and for modern trance ”
