No matter the genre, you’re guaranteed a plethora of quality acoustic talent every weekend at The Chandelier Room. This Saturday night sees the return of three of our faves. Nicolette Forte (soul/pop/roots) Taking her cue from soulful female singer-songwriters such as Tracy Chapman, Nicolette Forte is fast carving a niche for herself in the bustling Australian music scene with her massive voice, superb songwriting and effervescent personality. Nicolette’s shows are always fantastic fun. Come and see what all the fuss is about! Jess Palmer (jazz/pop/soul) We’re so taken with jazz-pop chanteuse Jess Palmer at The Chandelier Room that she’s already played two sets here in 2013 – first in a duo, then solo, and now she returns with her talented band. This is deep, soulful, stirring songcraft, launched into the stratosphere by Jess’s incredibly emotive voice. Jamie Pye (instrumental/folk/indie) The only thing more remarkable about Jamie Pye’s command of the acoustic guitar is the fact he’s just 16 years old. Weaving percussive elements into his deft patchwork of dizzying alternate tunings, chiming harmonics and gorgeous melodic counterpoint, Jamie’s guitar says it all. Imagining where Jamie will take his music in the coming years beggars belief. Doors 8pm – $10 Pre-book seating HERE
