Jesse Fex Artist Biography:
Jesse Fex has been locked up in the basement for the past 6 years. His vast knowledge of audio engineering and sound design has allowed him to manipulate sounds into a vision of his own. Years of experience in composing, production, and engineering have shaped his recognizable musical style along with influences from such artists as Adam k , Funkagenda and Eddie Halliwell. The result is energetic art reflective of a wide range of sonic expression. From the inspirations of early classical music through current jazz Jesse Fex leaves no musical idea unentertained.

Biography
1985 - Jesse was born in Toronto Ontario Canada.
1990 - Jesse started playing piano. He attempted taking lessons but he did not have the patience. He preferred working by ear, listening, then replaying it and figuring out the chord progressions.
1998 - Jesse started working for his mom at a speaker manufacturing factory. He got hands-on knowledge on the function and technology of professional application speakers, amplifiers, basic DJ mixers and cd players.
2000 - Before he could even drive Jesse took his speaker knowledge into his own hands and started a small -time car audio business. He would sell, install and wire systems for friends and clients and soon got a good reputation for his work. We can all still remember his system test song, Dead Prez - Hip Hop.
2002 - Started to throw and run all ages dance events with his younger brother and a partner. The first party had an attendance of over 450 people. They continued this for 2 years or so with well over 10 crazy parties thrown.
2003 - Received a gift from his aunt, a Yamaha DX-7 keyboard which increased his play time, he loved the "x file" sound. Also in this year, he heard his "inspirational" song that turned him heavy into the dance scene, Gusto - Discos Revenge.
2004 - He received another gift but from his uncle. A full set-up studio, everything from a Mac G4 loaded with Logic to a 24 track sound board and lots of different processors. Jesse started slowly; he would make hip hop beats and sell to his friends. Over about 6 months of making these beats he progressed into Trance. Since this day he has been developing his style to the point where he is today.
2006 - Jesse saw Eddie Halliwell in concert and decided he was going to be a DJ.
2007 - Jesse totally rebuilt his studio to keep up with the changing of technologies in the industry but still to date uses his DX-7. In this year ,he started borrowing his brother’s mediocre Dj system and leant the basics of mixing on cd and turntables. At the end of this year, Jesse purchased his first DJ system, 2 CDJ 1000 and a DJM 800 by Pioneer. He also got "Serato - Scratch" by Rane,; since this purchase, he has started "gigging" and producing heavily.
2008 - This year Jesse has created over 15 new tracks and is looking to start hitting charts in the 09... Keep your ears posted for this man --- > Jesse Fex!
