Jeff is one less than a dozen guitarist ON EARTH who compose using a style "Acoustic Flat Tapping". In this style the guitar is laid FLAT and played from above with both hands "like a piano".
At the age of 15, Jeff discovered fusion jazz in a recording by Jean Luc Ponty, renowned jazz fusion violinist.
