Friends the 9th Annual Deland Musical Festival was a smash, I also meet lots of good people and met a old friend from school who is now a editor wit the new paper, he came over and took pic and is giving us a awesome writ up in the paper, his name is Robert Burns, it was good to see Robert again. JT's new Cd From the Road is up on the music player, tracks are exclusive to registered fans who have join  the mailings list for a short time only. This music is something different from Jeff, it is the songs from the road were not blues, so this is JT's 1st Folk Rock / Story Telling Cd.

Jt's still in the top 40 on the World Wide Blues Charts for over two years, we want Billboard Charts tho, the means a cross over hit, ummmm, Jt to move to New Orleans by the end of the year.

7-23-09 New news is lots of good stuff, I'm gonna play the 9th Annual Deland Music Festival again this year, my Record label Old Dog's Records is moving foward, my bass player Keven is coming back to Florida, were gonna be working with Big Country from Tampa and we putting 4 of Tammy Beals songs on the up coming new CD Looking Back. JT mornes the loss of good friend and former bass player Shane Yawn on 12-25-2008. shane played a few gigs with jt this year and just sold jt his suv a few months ago. Shane just did his 1st movie with his band Eleven 29, they did soundtracks on the new National Lampoon movie. The band was working on there 2nd movie at this time, Shane will be very much missed, Shane was 31 and will be taken back to Ga this week where he is from, rip our friend.

12-03-09 JT is happy to let his friends and fans know that he is back at the helm of the Old Dog's Records &  Old Dog's Management. Reverb Nation simply is the way to go for Indie Artist who wish to handle there own business , there own money and there own road so to speak. We have also formed a new Jam Band we call Garage Blues Band, just simple fun loving blues band that can do a gig for littleor no money!!!, and still have JT play the gig as Special Guest.  With the hard times hitting the working man as well as the working woman we also knew that clube and venues were having a hard time also,  so this is a way off getting a top Showcases Blues Band along with a Cover Blues Band for a good price that will be a win win for everyone.

 Well we are into July, half way through the year, man it is flying, so far we had a good time, with some good gigs under our belt, JT has decided to take a break and bring the band in to his recording studio. The current songs that are up were all just recorded with just JT and his guitar and drum machine, and they got Jeff to the # 5 spot and have held him there in the top 15 for 8 months now, were all happy with that, and the music is just what JT wanted, raw, amped up and pure blues at it simplest form, the way the blues started. Now with all the differentways to down load music on line JT has decided to re-record the Crossroads CD, this time with the full band, and re name the album to (Crossroads & Back) The new music will be published by JTB Music Publishing, and will be distrubuted by his Label Old Dog's Records. Also coming is the new www.jefftoddbluesband.com web site which will becomethe Official Web Site for Jeff Todd Blues Band, lots of new stuff coming from Old Dog's Records also, a all Blues Internet Radio Station, featuring the top 40 from Reverb Nation to be played in the daily rotation. JT and his band played some of the best pure blues rock around last night in Orlando. Check out the video clips. Bob played awesome drums and Shane was truly on the beat, and Terry played his 1st gig ever and also held his own. JT was himself, kick butt guitar work.

JT hits song play milestone; on 3-19-08 Jeff Todd Blues Band hit the 10.000 play mark on Reverb Nation, bringing JT to over 17,000 playes world wide. So far 2008 has been very well for Jeff and JT expects this year to be a record year for his music.

On March 29/2008, Jeff Todd Blues Band will take the stage to close the Florida Freedom Festival on Saturday night at 9.30PM. Gates open at 1pm and there will be music all day long and into the night ending with JT's blues.

Jeff will record the show live and will be part of his next CD (JT Live)

2-15-2008, Jeff is bringing in a 2nd drummer, and a 2nd guitar player along with a new bass player. Jeff band will feature double drummers, so the beats will be the back - bone of the music along with Jeff's hard edged leads. This new show will be 1.5 long and the band will also cover the best of the best in classic blues hits, along with Jeff's hit Mannish Boy.

2-10-2008 /  Feb is starting out nice more fans and more playes, JT is opening the 3rd week of Feb with a #17 spot. JT is also one of the top blues artist on Plenty of Bands Music site. JT has his own daily radio station that can be downloaded from Plenty of Bands and highly recomends this site for Listeners & Artist.

2-14-2008  After a small lull over the weekend JT opens at #34 to start Feb. For more than a month JT stayed in the top 50 on Reverb Nations World Wide Blues Artist Charts. JT is also in the top 5 on the new Music site (Plenty or Bands).

JT is currently recording the drums for the Crossroads CD in Nashville.

New begenings means new music, new attatude and new custom JTB Custom Guitars, and a new City, New Orleans and behond,  here I come, May or June of 08.

New news is Jeff Todd has left the Bullet Proof Bluz Band, the band he founded, but has  reformed the Jeff Todd Blues Band. "The music must stay true to the blues, and with the old line up it was heading in the wrong direction."

The new CD is close to being completed. Recording drums in Nashvill in early Jan, final Bass tracks in mid Jan then the release from my record label Old Dog's Records to Internet and FM Radio in Feb  Shane Yahw will be coming back to the studio to record the bass lines for the Crossroads Cd.

Crossroads, is name of the CD,  with 12 song. Also a new line up of artist will be playing with the new Jeff Todd Blues Band.

Jeff formed his own record label called Old Dog's Records to handle the business end of the Jeffs music business.

Jeff Todd will be Co Producing his 1st  Album Crossroads . This Cd will be finished by the end of Jan 2008.

JTB Music Publishing / Jeff Todd has abtained recording right for Muddy Waters hit song (Mannish Boy), this songis Muddys remake of Bo Diddley (I'm a Man). This song will be on the Crossroads CD along with two pre-recorded song from 2003 with song writing partner Ben Miller.

6-4-08 / Were at # 755 in the All genre Catagory!! , out of 200.000 bands, and were at #11 on the Blues Charts, and were moving up!!! were happy.

5-31-08 Well we are still in the top 15, hit #10 and stayed at # 11 for the last 3 weeks, thanks to everyone who supports  me, we are also playing the Cheyenne Saloon again on 6-21-08, in Orlando, check out the pic and the video from the last show. Were still in the top 20 at #13 on the charts and landed a big time show at the one of the top clubs in Florida. the Cheyenne Saloon, in downtown Orlando at Church Street Station. this type of business were in is called the music business, it is on the same back stabbing level as drug dealing, when a artist puts his life in music and werites it down and then puts music to it, we all leave it out there on the line good or bad, we ask ourselves and others (do you like my music) we hope everyone would like our music, but we also know that we can't please everyone in life, so we go on, this is what drives me to be the best I can be, bethe best guitar player i can be, the best song writer i can be, the best singer I can be, Bo Diddley put it to me this way, he said Jeff "you do what you do, i'll do what i do, and thats how music is made"(Bo Diddley) I know I'm happy with my self, I wounder if the artist who responded to me becoming a friend / fan is? as for the rest of the comments go to my comment page / jt
