CTS - Consider The Source / Press

“11.13.2014 Ann Templeton On October 20, 2014, the Chandler High School Chamber Orchestra rocked it out with CTS in a benefit concert that included great music, inspiring messages, and much celebration. The event was highly successful and allowed CHS students the opportunity to perform with professional artists and a full stage show, including high tech lighting and video. It was amazing and our musicians loved it! Jeff Senour was instrumental in organizing the top notch performance, and helped us maximize our fundraising through ticket sales, advertising, and auctioning items. His creativity and enthusiasm were catching; our students, orchestra director, and I really enjoyed working with Jeff and CTS! - Ann Templeton Assistant Principal Chandler High School”

“Ever since hearing Jeff and Joe in a very unique, intimate, acoustic house concert, and talking with them afterward, I had been looking forward to hearing and seeing their full band show, the "Freedom Rock Experience". Well, it sure was worth the wait, finally getting a chance to see the FRE last Saturday, October 19th in Plano, TX, at the Lions Club fundraiser. To say that CTS is a professional and class act in every way is the understatement of the year. But the music itself is only part of the story. CTS's blatant patriotism and support of our troops and our youth is, in my opinion, unmatched by anything or anyone else in the music business. I feel fortunate to have become a friend of Jeff and Joe, and was very pleased to meet Tony and Jerry as well. You will not be disappointed by seeing a Freedom Rock Experience show. Better yet, do something really great for your community, and get CTS to come to your town or school. I know I will! James McClure, Pearland, TX”

“3.23.2013 My Orange County orchestra performed recently with Jeff Senour as part of The Freedom Rock Experience. What a great gig for my Esperanza High School students! They had a true pre-professional experience, as back-up musicians for a terrific rock band. The string arrangements were challenging, but appropriate to the students' abilities. The guys in the band treated the kids as professionals, and the students felt like rock stars! The day after our school performance, we all took the stage at the NAMM show at the Anaheim Convention Center. Playing for a huge crowd of professional musicians and educators was a musical high point for all of us! - Kay Crask Orchestra Teacher Esperanza High School”

“3.28.2013 It was such a pleasure working with the CTS band during our "Freedom Rock Experience" student concert. I was impressed by how well organized and professional they were, and the music parts and scores fit perfectly into the show. Thank you Jeff, Jerry, and the whole CTS band for a wonderful and meaningful experience for our orchestra program. I would highly recommend doing this concert to any music educator looking for that extra special opportunity for their own music program! - Amber Dudley Mesquite High School Director of Orchestras Performing Arts Department Chair”

"Recently, I had the pleasure of joining CTS on stage at two events. The first was a concert at Valencia High School presented by American Soldier Network with the Yorba Linda and Esperanza High School Orchestras. I was amazed at the skill and passion with which the young musicians played! Hearing all those violins, cellos and basses rocking out with the band was like nothing I'd experienced before. Then to take that same performance and put it on the main stage at NAMM in Anaheim was something I'll never forget. The smiles on the kids' faces was contagious. They played just as hard as the CTS boys and the crowd responded in kind. Jeff Senour and CTS are doing a wonderful thing bringing their love of music and sharing it with younger musicians around the country. Practically every parent I spoke to after the shows expressed a renewed enthusiasm for their child's interest in music.

“A Testimonial from Craig Luketich - Principal Mountain View High School CTS performed with our entire Strings program at Mountain View High School (on 5/17/2012). Our students had a great time, from rehearsal to the concert itself. The music was terrific, CTS was great with the audience, and our families and students had a blast. Beyond the music, CTS shared important messages of family, the appreciation of our military heroes, and the reminder that we live in the greatest country in the world. The whole night was filled with great music and wholesome fun. It was absolutely a great experience for everyone. - Craig Luketich”

“6.14.2012 I attended your May 17th concert at Mountain View High School. AMAZING. The concert was a 'surroung sound' atmosphere. There were over 250 students surrounding the audience in concert with CTS. I was truly blessed at this event. What CTS is doing as far as benefit concerts and also this event in performing with the kids was truly worth attending. Thank you to all the talented mucisians and those that helped put this evening together. ”

“12.27.2011 A TESTIMONIAL FROM DR. WALT TEMME! I want to share a few thoughts about my students’ recent performance with the CTS band. My symphonic strings from Mountain View High School (Mesa, Arizona) performed with CTS at a concert honoring our veterans and protective services (fire and police). My students played string backup to four tunes arranged for performance with CTS and had an absolute BLAST. The music was fun and engaging, and the band members treated the kids with warmth and respect. CTS interacted with the orchestra on both a personal and professional level giving them a true rock concert experience they will never forget. Through their love of music and sharing it with the orchestra, CTS drew the students into the performance experience getting them excited and JAZZED for an unforgettable performance. “Being able to play with CTS, is something i will never forget, not only did i get to play with them here in Killeen Tx, but i also got the opportunity to be able to go to Arizona and experience this once in a lifetime experience, again! Playing once was something i could have never imagined, but playing the second time, just made it seem even more amazing, and made the experience even more worthwhile. Being able to play with a rockband on stage during their show is something not many people get to do, but CTS lets that happen, and along they way, they inspire everyone to never give up. “Thumbs up and a star rating to CTS's CD No Turning Back. Sixteen tracks of modern rock music featuring talent over volume, no matter what age this music will get you out of your chair and on your feet. This Phoenix based group consisting of; Jeff Senour (Lead Vocals & Guitar), Dave Legassey (Bass Guitar & Vocals), Steve Howes (Lead Guitar & Vocals), and Joe McGinnity (Drums), bring a freshness to good old rock'n-roll. Deserving of the National acclaim they have received and for their performances before and for the troops here and abroad, having worked with Gary Sinisi and groups like Creedence Clearwater Revival, Molly Hatchett and Petra. The CD is a great listen, not the cookie cutter rock heard too often today, they are unique in their diversity, ambition and direction as demonstrated on track after track. Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy, you will not be disappointed, I recommend this CD to all. ”

“~A TESTIMONIAL FROM LIEUTENANT GENERAL JOHN A. BRADLEY~ Jeff Senour, and his rock band, "Consider the Source" or "CTS," are an inspiration to all of us. He has a passion for supporting our nation's military service members and their families. We have seen him in action on several occasions. His heart for those who sacrifice for our country is evident in every song. He involves young people in his concerts to help them understand service to others. This is his passion. He has gone "above and beyond" in supporting our fabulous troops. John A. Bradley, Lieutenant General, U.S. Air Force (Retired) and Jan Bradley ”

“Jeff Senour, leader of a band called CTS - Consider the Source, promises that the Freedom Rock Experience on Saturday will "make people think a little bit" about the greatness of America and the people who fight and work to protect our way of life. "Jeff and his band have always been extremely patriotic in supporting our organizations and other groups," says Margy Bons, president of Operation Homefront of Arizona. "It's a wonderful band and a wonderful group of people individually. The concert is really going to be fun." "I've always been very patriotic. I've been around the world, and I appreciate our country and what we have, the freedom that I know isn't free - it comes at a big sacrifice." Since its launch, CTS has performed around the country at events honoring the military and the nation and has worked with charities such as the Snowball Express and the Patriot Guard Riders, which both aid families of fallen soldiers. ”

“Dear Jeff, Thank you for the copy of your CD. You were kind to think of me. I am grateful for your efforts to support our troops. Our Nation owes a debt of gratitude to these brave men & women for defending our freedom and laying the foundation of peace for future generations. I am honored to be their Commander in Chief. Best wishes & may God bless America. Sincerely,”

President, George W. Bush - The White House

“Jeff and the band have touched the soul of America with their music, as they performed at the Snowball Express program. I can give my highest recommendation to Jeff Senour and CTS for a caring and remarkable music performance at the Snowball Express event. It would bless our Military families and members serving in many distant lands to have the opportunity to hear the inspiring music of CTS. This talented group of men produces music that you could take your children and families to enjoy. ”

Greg Young, Snowball Express Board Member - Snowball Express

“After seeing rock band CTS live, I was impressed by the musicianship and the band's earnest approach to gimmick-less rock songwriting. There's nothing trail-blazing in the tunes here, but fans of artists like the Gin Blossoms and John Mayer will appreciate the deftness with which CTS recycles the rock paradigm - soaring guitar solos, danceable beats, gritty vocals, and carefully crafted compositions abound in every original song they perform. Highlights include, "Can't Get Off This Train', a radio friendly, hard edged pop song with rock hooks, "Why Couldn't We", a shuffling bluesy tune; "Too Good To Be Real", a breathy ballad decorated with jangling guitar hooks: and "Sound Of Freedom", an emotional tribute to the troops that garnered the band a letter of appreciation from President George W. Bush. This band is a must see live, group of guys.”

“I was actually apart of the Harker Heights Orchestra that played with the CTS band(: It was a really great experience, and im glad i got to be apart of it. It really inspired me to always follow my dreams, because if you go through with it, you never know what can happen, and that it may surprise you what you can accomplish. After the concert with CTS it really showed me that the orchestra can be even more fun, extreme, and even go into a much higher level than i ever thought of. Im glad that i got to experience something that exciting, and im glad that the CTS let us join them onstage, both playing, and dancing! You guys have inspired me, and im sure many other young people all around. Thanks Jeff, and CTS for inspiring all of us, and for the great music you guys present(: It means alot to me, and im sure all of us that you guys do so much for everyone(: Ashleyy (:”

““No Turning Back” by CTS and Jeff Senour, has represented sight and sound to me as if I had just began to be infected with music’s infatuation all over again.”

“I would describe who they are as anything but what you may think. From what I know – none of them knows what a “rock star” is and has no desire to; which fits them well for they are humble. They do not seek their own personal success; that gives them class. They believe that every effort of theirs is but to serve a greater good – one common to all of us; that makes them selfless. While with generous hearts offering a steadfast portion of all proceeds earned to give to what they believe in; and that makes them more of a man than I. That’s who they are. Rooted in deep Patriotism, through amazing music, CTS dedicates their talents to serve a greater cause, one which we all benefit from. They have just been men enough to stand up and do it in a time where everyone else sits things out”

“Dear Mr. Jeff Thank you for your continued dedication to our Snowball Express families. The band’s performance at our Snowball Express IV event in Dallas, Texas was exciting and the kids all were so involved they were trying to climb onto the stage. You captured their hearts and gave them an evening they will remember for years to come. You truly understand our mission of connecting the families of our fallen heroes and the song you wrote will continue to be part of our events for years to come. With respect and gratitude, Micki Sander, Chairman of the Board And the entire Board of Directors”

“I was driving south down the 101 this morning around 6:45 a.m. or so (and of course I was listening to this awesome band CTS, of course) and "Here I am" begins to play. As I turn to the east while driving to see this most incredible sunrise peak over the Superstitions. The sheer magnitude of beauty landing in my eyes just gave me shivers as you sang the words. I began to shout out in my truck that "Oh my God, I understand the song now". The hairs stood up on my arms and legs for the length of the song as I found it hard to keep my eyes on the road. JEFF, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MUSIC YOU'VE WRITTEN THAT I TRULY BELIEVE YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW DEEPLY YOU CAN AFFECT PEOPLE...WELL AT LEAST ME. THANK YOU, THANK YOU MY FRIEND!!!”

“Heads up everyone, if you're like myself and have been eagerly awaiting any new, blow your mind, off the charts music to come from anywhere during such a stagnated time, pay attention. CTS is your answer, it has been mine. Grab onto these guys now so you'll be able to say " I was there just as they got huge."”
