Roots Rare Groove

Jazzinho, which could be translated as "Sweet Little Jazz", is a luscious blend of Rare Groove rhythms and World Music arrangements, incorporating Portuguese and Brazilian traditional instruments, African percussions, R&B background vocals with soulful and organic Bossa melodies. It is mainly in Portuguese, but some of the lyrics are in English as well.

Led by virtuoso vocalist, songwriter and composer Guida de Palma, Jazzinho, records and performs a repertoire of original material in her idiosyncratic style. Guida is an exceptionally creative vocalist and a master at getting the audience involved. Gigs usually end with a high octane groove with the audience singing and dancing.
