As a young adult and after a long romantic relationship ended in great disappointment, Jared’s inspiration was fueled by a broken heart when he wrote and released his first album: “Pour Me Another One”. The album was a soulful look back at the life he had, and then lost after his break up.  Creating that album also fueled Jared’s determination to build his career as a recording artist. 

Before leaving his home town of Berrien Springs, MI to move to Los Angeles, CA, he recorded his second album entitled 'West and I'll Call You.’  This is an album brimming with optimism about his new life that was just ahead. With two albums in hand Jared set out only to find that life was going to take yet another painful turn for the worse.  Living as a struggling musician, some days Jared had food and a roof over his head while other days were spent living out of his car, surviving on tequila and not much else.  In July of 2007, with no money and no home, Jared moved back to Michigan and recorded his third album called 'Down Till Dead'. The album was filled with songs of defeat and loss, but the experience caused him to push forward and reminded him to never give up.

Jared moved back to Los Angeles in March of 2009, and is currently working towards a major record deal and national touring. He has signed on with the executives at Allensworth Entertainment, Inc., a Beverly Hills talent and management firm and is also strongly supported by Nick Moles of “Groove Street Entertainment” and Terry Miller of “A Finer Point”.  With this amazing support group behind him, Jared recently recorded some of his most memorable and effective material, including the much praised song, JANE THE STRIPPER, the haunting and powerful BLUE ANGEL, and what is sure to be a classic, the acoustic ballad, I’LL FIND YOU WHERE YOU ARE. 

Jared is currently building his on-line presence and in a short period of time has amassed a large number of fans via his Myspace and Facebook pages. Jared has also been twice featured artist and winner for “Best Song” on the notable music website, YOUBLOOM.com.

With a voice that is as unique as it is strong, Jared passionately lays his life out for listeners to experience and enjoy. Every song is an authentic reflection of his life experience. On stage in a live setting, Jared spares no emotion – giving the listeners a consistently powerful performance while delivering the subtleties of an authentic singer-songwriter and story teller.
