Q: How did you come to name the studio Jamyama? Really like your work.
A: Back in 2007, I was thinking about online presence (MySpace, Website domain etc.). At the time I was writing and recording random bits and pieces - nothings changed!!! I remember being in a bit of a dilemma with promoting it so I was trying to think of a name which could be free of genre. It’s really a play on the word ‘Jam’ for that reason. The ‘yama’ part came to me one day whilst staring endlessly at a Post-It note with the word ‘Jam’ on it. A Google search didn’t throw up any real results, so decided to go along with it. And I still have the Post-It note! :) Thanks for the fanship and taking the time to ask. I'm thrilled that you like what I've posted on here so far! Pete. :)
