James Pender is taking the Ember machine to the dust and surf of Australia. Following up his first effort "Lazy Mutinado" with 12 more songs has been a long and daunting process. "The songs have always been there, it's just that life keeps getting in the way of actually getting them out there." Nobody wants them done more than i do, and when they're ready then they're ready, It just so happens that they'll be released on Australian soil, which is exciting as hell. The new songs are a little heavier than the first album, a bit more modern. This is by no means a money making business anymore, to put out your own songs is a self gratifying journey alone. The view is long and lonely but well worth the wait. "Houndstooth" is slated for release mid '09
