I make instrumental minimalist music, with keyboards, computers and software for multi-track recording. Some of my major influences are Wim Mertens and Philip Glass.
In March 2009 I released the album Weather with nine original pieces described as relaxing, melodic, rhythmic and minimalist, built with layers of electronic patterns and repetitive piano chords. The song "Rainy" was semi-finalist on the UK Songwriting Contest 2009.

“Jaloes is a spanish composer of instrumental minimalist music. His songs, made with piano and computers, are described as relaxing, melodic, rhythmic and repetitive. Some of his musical influences come from the American minimalist music, La Monte Young, Steve Reich, Terry Riley, Phlip Glass, and later musicians who made an approach to this style, like Wim Mertens, Michael Nyman, John Adams and Yann Tiersen.”
