Alto Saxophonist Jaleel Shaw - currently performing with the Roy Haynes Quartet, is a NY based musician that has two critically acclaimed CD's - Perspective and Optimism.
Known earlier for his performances with the Mingus Big Band and Count Basie Orchestra, Jaleel Shaw is originally from Philadelphia, PA. He attended Berklee College of Music, earning a degree in Music Education and Performance, and later earned his Masters from the Manhattan School of Music.
