Jah Selah, born Chvaen Gaunlette Clarke in the old capital of Spanish Town, Jamaica where he spent most of his early childhood days, started singing at a very young age and recorded his first single in 1990, titled "Sad Day".

This humble yet strong personality has toured with internationally acclaimed artists, Wayne Wonder, collaborated and performed with Miss Dynamite after recording a duet with her titled "United" and appeared on the MTV based lounge while in England.
