Jaded Sun have gigged extensively throughout Ireland and Europe (which included the Zwarte Cross festival in Holland and a comprehensive tour of Germany) after launching their debut album "Gypsy Trip" in March 2008 and have also performed at the Music Show Expo in the RDS. About
Jaded Sun's debut album due for release on 28th March 2008. The album was recorded in LA in The Mousehouse Studios under the supervision of American producer Richad Mouser (formerly produced Weezer, Tears For Fears, Dream Theatre), Co-Production in the hands of Jimmy Coup (former guitarist with Andrew WK) and being Mastered by Robert Vosgien (Lenny Kravitz, Bush both part of a long long list) in Capitol Records CA.
This album has been recorded off the back of 2 previous EP releases “RAW” & “Falling On The Fears”, and 4 years of live performing in Ireland , The UK & Croatia Main Square Zagreb
Jaded Sun formed in 2003 and in March 2005 were signed by small independent SiAn Records and commenced concentrating on writing material for the band's second EP, "Falling On The Fears". To assist in cementing and indeed the further development of this all important individual sound, Jaded Sun enlisted the expertise of the well-known and respected producers Chris O'Brien & Graham Murphy who quoted on John - "He is the best vocalist we have ever had the pleasure of working with."
The band released the EP at the end of 2005 to great reviews and received both national and local radio play. Jaded Sun was described by Hot Press in April 2006 as being "One of our most promising rock acts" – a justified comment for a very hard working band!
