“We love going to shows when we don’t know a thing about the opening band and they blow our minds off… and that’s exactly what happened last night with Jackie Treehorn. Her style was fire-y and she definitely had an amazing band. Self-described “funk and hard-soul,” she sort of brought a vintage sound but mixed it up a lot. The band seemed super grateful to be at the occasion, and we loved that they called themselves the humble lubricant for the party that is the Boom Booms."”
