Bio
Ixion is an atmospheric doom metal band from France. It was formed in 2004 by composer Julien Prat, joined in 2006 by Thomas Saudray to work on vocals and lyrics. The demo "Through the space we die" is released in 2007 and gets a very good reception.
The band then decides to work on a full length album and in 2009, Yannick Dilly joins as an additional singer.
“To the Void” is completed in 2010 and Ixion signs on Avantgarde Music. The album is released in april 2011, with very positive reviews.
