Iron Void / Press

“The production on the EP is strong and clear with every instrument pushed up to a satisfactory level but its also a pretty short disc so the desire to hit the repeat button is immediate. One can only hope a full length album is not too far away because we need to hear a lot more from Iron Void. If the songs on the live demo are anything to go by, they have the material for a full album so hopefully we wont have to wait too long. This is further evidence as to why bands from the UK seems to capture the classic doom rock vibe better than most, maybe its the beer. This is a essential purchase for all doomsters, check it out. 9/10”

“The second Terrorizer Grindhouse night and Death Fest warm-up gig in Wakefield didn’t look as if it was going to go ahead after a last minute change of venue from The DNE to The Snooty Fox. he line up now consisted of five bands. Kicking of the night are local Heavy Metal band, IRON VOID. Although only a small crowd is present at this time in the day, they soon put a stop to this with some pure heavy metal riffs as the room starts to fill. With strong powerful vocals coming from singer Sealey and some mind blowing solos from guitarist Steve they do a great job at getting this event started and the crowed warmed up.”

“A very impressive debut for this U.K. band, whose roots go back the 1998, whose ranks have included Randy Reaper from The Lamp of Thoth and currently boast original members Sealy (ex-So Mortal Be) on bass and vocals and Diz on drums along with Steve on guitar and vocals (also ex-So Mortal Be). This comes across as the product of a band with some depth and history. Plant me among the (hopefully large) horde of traditional doom heads that will be playing the hell out of this and eagerly awaiting a full length.”
