Bio
Irene and Reed of Indianapolis, Ind. interweave a raw American folk vibe with sultry blues vocals and pop sensibility, layered over a playful blend of melodic ragtime and classical piano. In the style of Tori Amos and Fiona Apple, the songwriters present a humble glimpse into Midwestern culture. They released their debut album, "Closer to Home," in 2010, available on iTunes. In addition to ongoing live shows, a second original CD will be released in 2011.
