4pm-5pm International String Trio is coming to a nice little beautiful town in Vermont and playing for "Sundays on the Hill Concert Series."
5pm-7:30pm Union Square Park (by the Ghandi Statue in Southwest corner of the park) This is the concert for the world peace. There is a ceremony to ring bells at the same time when the atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima which is July 5th, 7:15pm in New York time. Prior to the ceremony, musicians gather together and hold a concert. I will be playing shamisen/sanshin with my friend, Sakai.
International String Trio is going to the Catskills! We will be performing for Essential Thursday series at a 150-year old church in the mountains!
"7th Annual Circle Wind Concert" This is the benefit concert for 9.11 victims as well as the victims of the earthquake in Japan in 2011. I'll be performing as a part of a Gypsy Jazz band and will be accompanying Japanese Choir group "TOMO."
"Jazz for Sunday" I'll be playing the electric bass as a part of Kenji Kikuchi Quartet for a Sunday service.
