Drawing from influences as far a field as Psych Rock, Acid Folk & Progressive Jazz right through to Progressive, minimal electronica, breaks and Dub & Trance, IPcress DJ set's encompass a wide range of sounds and influences from around the world, always with a groovy psychedelic edge, expect the unexpected.

After travelling to Australia and spending many months in Morocco & North Africa in search of the Gnaoua Musicians & their deeply hypnotic trance music, Chris moved to Brighton and started party organisation Viva La Weaver, which became renowned for its amazing energy and friendly vibe.

In the past year IPcress has been involved in promoting and organizing various outdoor forest parties in southern England with the highly successful Omniscience & Viva La Weaver, which have involved some of the UK's best live acts and DJs including Shane Gobi, Dick Trevor, Alex EVP, Tron, FromemOry & Psymmetrix. Chris has also started off the unforgettable DayTrippers@ Cafe 1001 in London with close friend Alex Story. It's first outing being a daytime afterparty for the massive Twisted Records Party in London last October and included the like's of Flip Flop and Zen Mechanics in the line up.

And last but not least, I'm working very closely with Robin Annal at Triskele management with an emphasis on Marketing & Promotion and chill out & electronica. Triskele represent labels such as Liquid, Organic, Neurobiotic, Free Spirit & 3D Vision with many more in the pipe line over the coming year. I look forward to the future.
