Inner Fire formed in late 2007, quickly establishing a fearsome reputation for live performance. Their self-produced demo ‘Let the Flames Begin’ showed enough promise to allow the band access to prestigious London stages such as 93 Feet East, The Fly and The Kingston Peel.

“Unmistakable in its metalness 'New Chapter' is a wonderfully confident record combining influences in a natural and cohesive way, born from years of playing live, countless rehearsals and a desire that puts many of their contemporaries to shame. Some bands take an age finding their own sound but Inner Fire found it early and have worked hard at dusting it down and making it as good as it good possibly be. This is one reason why the songs here hit the target on the first listen and then continue to grab you after the second and third. By this time you would surely be mesmerised by the lavish guitar wizardry from Nik Sampson and Alex Lewis which carefully envelopes this album like a mother with a new born.
