In the year 2003 Glenford Brown and Jonathan Ware along with several others in the jersey area were searching for a tool to express their thoughts and ideas, in searching for that medium, they stumbled upon one of the greatest moments of their lives: New Growth. With that open mic held in Caribbean Palace the revolution had begun. "Happy Belated Magazine Day".
Caribbean Palace has become Impromptu's stomping ground and gave them a place to hone their talent and skills. Over the years they have gone on to perform in George Street Playhouse, Baton Rouge, Delta's, Bloomfield College, Nyack College, various Churches and other organizations.
IMPROMPTU has now become a band of poets, musicians, and artist that have a zeal for change in the local and global community. Through their art they believe they can make a difference in society and give hope through their words, give a chuckle through their smiles, and give life through the power of Jesus Christ which strengthens them in their journey.
