IMAJ opens for Clay Walker at The Lone Star Legacy Gala. This gala is held annually and features world class musical entertainment. Past performers include Lone Star, Martina McBride and Sara Evans among others. Proceeds from the event are used to fund innovative educational programs to benefit teachers and students in Mesquite ISD. The Mesquite ISD Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises funds from the community to award to Mesquite ISD teachers and staff for enrichment programs that might not be possible otherwise due to budgetary constraints. Since inception in 2004, the Foundation has awarded more than 300 grants totaling over $1.2 million.
