Rodrigo Bettini & Johnny Louis met in the midst of the Tampa/Orlando rave scene in the early 90s.

In January of 2000 the Ideal Muzik Co. was formed, and so was the dynamic duo named MIRAJ.  In the next 6 years, they played gigs in North & South America, Europe, & other exotic locations. They have worked with many different artists and have had songs like their first release Needing Your Love played on the radio, & tracks such as Planet Rock 2010 & their remix of Triax 250 by Wally Lopez appear on cds by Ellis Dee & the San Francisco Love Fest compilation.  Jr. Funk, modeled after one of their favorite movies was licensed for a new Electroinc Music / Dj documentry called Liquid Vinyl. 

The label started producing vinyl at Studio 301 in Sarasota.  Magic Mike & Rennie Pilgrem have been to the Ideal Studio, where Rennie picked up some tracks that he brought home to the UK & played on his weekly radio show, and where Magic Mike wrote 'Go For It' with Mike Nice of Mike & Charlie fame.  The studio no longer exists, except in the hearts of Miraj and the loyal patrons, but now the music is produced digitally, any where, any how.....

Johnny Louis currently resides in Sarasota, FL where he over sees daily operations of the Ideal Muzik, Co., focusing on Breakbeat & Downtempo, working with artists such as the Dj F, Mike & Charlie, Funklab, Superfly & Shakka. 

Rodrigo, lives in Brazil, managing Seven Limited Records (www.myspace.com/7ltd), working with superstars such as Steve Porter, Medway, John Howard, Astro & Glyde, the Bit Crushers, and Wally Lopez.

Liquid Vinyl is a film by Taylor Neary. Utilizing interviews from the legendary Dj artists from the dance music world interspersed with special moments from the global club scene, Neary provides that unique insight into a global phenomenon that continues to shape cultures around the world through music. This non-fiction film is a dance music lovers delight as it includes an incredible array of interviews with such music masters as Frankie Knuckles (aka The Godfather of House); David Morales (one of the few to play at the Paradise Garage); Tony Humphries (defined the NJ sound at club Zanzibar); "Little" Louie Vega (partnered with Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez to form the prolific production duo, Masters at Work); Carl Cox (pioneered the rave scene in England); Goldie (pioneered the Drum 'n' Bass scene in England); Jason Bentley; Marques Wyatt; Roger Sanchez; Mark Lewis; Tedd Patterson; Lady Bunny; Susan Morabito; D:Fuse; Victor Calderone, and many others. Liquid Vinyl brings together the Dj's, the people behind the scene, and the dancers from the floor whom all ultimately share in the magic of the music. It's not just about glow sticks and the grinding beat -- but a whole culture defined by their love of dance music and an artist that can take a group of records, mix them together and literally spin the whole room into oblivion.
