iSix:5 is a collective group of young urban men (Omri, JG, Jordan, and J.Miles) who are passionate about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and are consequently amped up to advance that Gospel! Through God's sovereignty/providence, we all initially came together on the streets of Tempe, AZ while individually sharing the Gospel. We met on the mission field and our music is ultimately a product of our desire to put something into the hands and ears of those we meet.

With that being said, Hip Hop is used as a tool in that effort. Our desire is to proclaim the Gospel in a culturally relevent form, & contextualize the truths of the Bible to the urban culture without deviating from Scripture, or taking it out of context. We are heavy on sound doctrine and Christ-centered theology, and our prayer is that our music reflects that.

The name iSix:5 stems from Isaiah 6:5. In the sphere of Hip Hop, we use our mouths to speak on what is in our hearts. For the unbelieving artist that consists of self & the trivial lusts of the flesh. For us, it is the unmerited & wondrous grace of the God of Scripture! Sinful man (all mankind) is subject to pride & self-glorification, and this disease is easily amplified when someone has a platform to speak to an audience. Hence, our ever-present reminder, to all, is that we are but sinful men of unclean lips, & we are undone before Him who is Righteous and three times Holy. If it were not for the coal of Jesus' cross touching our lips and our hearts, we would be utterly worthless. Praise God for His plan of redemption that, by grace alone, saves and washes unclean men and women like you and me!
