read the crowd, partied, made yourself at home and really acted like we

I was the project manager for a special event held by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies last night. Amongst the dignitaries who attended was the Minister for Education and Training, John Della Bosca, the Director General for Education, Michael Coutts-Trotter, Dr Margaret Varady, Headmistress of Sydney Girls High and many Jewish communal leaders.
 
Hylton Chilchik and Joel Scheftz provided the musical entertainment for the evening and trained 5 young Moriah girls to assist as a small choir. (Demi Chilchik, Dale Scheftz, Sarit Michael, Jessica Gordoun and Mimi Nightingale.)
 
We have had tremendous feedback this morning, with many of our guests commenting on the music. The girls represented the school magnificently; they sang a number of Pesach songs, traditional Jewish songs as well as contemporary numbers. I felt proud and honoured to be associated with them and Hylton and Joel, both parents of the College.
 
I served as a Board member and volunteer for Moriah for many years and am aware of how seldom we receive positive feedback, hence this short email.

We were truly thrilled and delighted with your performance on our special day. If the next day was not a working day, I am sure guests would have continued to dance well into the early hours of the morning.

The best way to describe him is that he enriches every event he performs at with his magnificent voice, personality, enthusiasm and ability to read a crowd.

Hylton has played at every major celebration (simcha) that we have celebrated over an 8 yr period.
 
He made my Daughter's Engagement the best party you would ever want.  There were around 200 people there and even the elders were boogieing to his most wonderful music.
 
We only wanted Hylton for both my Daughter's and my Son's weddings and we decided to only book the both weddings when he was available.
 
ONe of the most important part of both kids weddings was that we wanted to have good fun music all the time.  He played fantastic fun dance music and lots of Israeli and South American music which gave the celebrations a fantastic atmosphere.
 
We wanted everyone on the floor dancing all the time, so the music was there most of the time - this gave everyone a chance to have a dance - it made everyone want to get up and dance the whole night away instead of just sitting down at the tables waiting for the music to start, as happens at alot of weddings.
 
In my son's wedding, he even had a duo sing-a-long with the mother of the bride!
Both weddings had a real fun party atmosphere - which everyone raved about.
 
I loved the way he sings the "Benching" in different song themes - it makes the whole meal so much more enjoyable - he's great and we and all our family love him dearly.
 
HYLTON AND HIS BAND MADE OUR ENGAGEMENT PARTY AND OUR 2 WEDDINGS  SO INCREDABLY ENJOYABLE.
 
I still haven't found another band that compares to Hylton and his band. 
 
He makes a wedding and a fantastic party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
HE'S THE BEST - THERE IS NO-ONE ELSE!!!
