humano ERROR (hE) is a music & sound art band from Puerto Rico whose primary styles are Rock, Jazz and Electronica. More specifically, Post Rock, Nu-Jazz and Ambient Electronica.
The band consists of Fabian W. Velez on the keys, Alejandro Laboy plays the upright bass and Eduardo Martinez bangs the acoustic drums. The band's musical output can be compared to acts like Tortoise, Autechre and Stereolab.

History
Fabian W. Velez (keyboardist & sequencer) and Eduardo Martinez (drummer) meet in February 2001 through a mutual friend who introduces them with the purpose of making a band. They immediately fall for each other's music inclinations and call other musician friends to form the beginnings of what was later called Oruga, a puertorrican Post Rock / Nu-Jazz band.
humano ERROR (hE) was originally a side project of Fabian W. Velez, used as an output for his more electronic material under the name hE (Human-Error). Fabian invites Eduardo Martinez and Alejandro Laboy (bassit) to collaborate in series of outtakes that were later called Tengo La Esperaza de Encontrar Un Sonido (Hope Of Finding A Sound). The band unwittingly unites for the first time.
A second album was specially made for a play called Vincent, written by Leonard Simon Nimoy (Captain Spock from Star Trek) and directed by Orlando Gonzalez. This instrumental album had a limited release, only being sold at the theatres where the play ran. The album was called Nacer y Morir 2 Veces (To Be Born And Die Twice).
Fabian, Alejandro and Eduardo continued to work in sporadic live and recording collaborations, still as a side project. After a five year elusive hiatus they reunite, this time with the intention to record an album and tour Europe. The band is currently promoting their latest album and first formal creation as a group: The Human In Search For Silence.

The Human In Search For Silence is humano ERROR (hE)'s third album and the first to enjoy a public release. The title is inspired by the absence of peace and harmony in our modern lifestyles. The songs are a balanced mix of Rock, Jazz and Electronic Music.
THISFS is the first full length production of the band working as a whole.
Technical Credits
The album was mostly recorded in what is formerly known as the famous Ochoa Studio, now Digitec; the same studio used by recording artists such as Marc Anthony, Gilberto Santarosa and Fabian's own father Wilkins.
This Album was recorded using digital and analog formats during the course of two months. The reason for the relative short time of the recording process was because most songs were recorded playing live instead of recording them one instrument at a time.
