Human Cycle began their cultural and musical performance in the year 2004. The band is from the city of Gaia-Porto. Influenced by different styles of musical and cultural matrix, the members of the group found in the heart of the band, a balance between rock with a touch of soul (soul rock) and electronic rhythms. The first EP was recorded and mixed in the studios Indústria Rock, in Penafiel, with the Producer Rodolfo Cardoso and Paulo Pintado. The Second record was Produced by human cycle and mixed by Rodolfo Cardoso. The video Anankê (one shine sane) has already more than half a million views in youtube. The band signed in 2007 a contract with the biggest digital distributer in the world, the orchard. Lyrics are key elements in the life of the group, since the different social, cultural and philosophical realities in which we are living, are revealed through their texts. After many concerts in several stages trough Portugal in the years of 2006- 2007, the third record of the band will be released under the name "Lead the Way". Band members have jazz lessons with two of the best Jazz teachers in Portugal: Carlos Mendes (guitar) and Kiko (vocals). The first record sold out the first edition in two months and also the second record sold 1.000 copies in the first week....... A banda é originária de Vila Nova de Gaia - Porto, de onde são naturais todos os seus elementos. Tendo como influências vários estilos musicais, apresentam um estilo de certa forma particular e original ao qual apelidam de "Soul Rock", o qual se pode traduzir como um tipo de música forte e melódico, cuja a sua principal fonte é a alma. Em setembro de 2004 lançam o seu 1º EP nas Fnac..s da cidade do Porto. Este cd foi gravado no Estúdios Indústria Rock, em Penafiel. Gravado, misturado e masterizado por Rodolfo Cardoso e Paulo Pintado. Neste Ep participaram como músicos convidados Cristiano Fonseca (ex- Ornatos Violeta) e Gustavo Afonso (ex-Heavenwood e Kika Santos). Em 2006 editaram, o seu 1º longa duração intitulado "Amian", cuja 1ª edição esgotou passados uns dias após o seu lançamento. Até ao momento os seus vídeo no youtube já tiveram mais de meio milhão de visionamentos. Em 2007 a banda assina contracto com a maior distribuidora digital do mundo, the orchard.
