Bio
"This is beefy, loud, testosterone-fuelled rock ‘n’ roll that spits from a set of speakers like venomous, unapologetic soundwaves." 8/10 - Rocksound
"The final guitar solo is one to be envied, creating a dramatic, dark and melodic sound that pulsates through your speakers - this is without doubt, a band that shouldn’t be taken lightly." -Pushtofire.com
'Mixtape' is an exciting twelve track journey of impassioned punk-edged pop-rock delivered with controlled aggression and a fiery attitude ...
Press
“Hard rockin` salty sea dogs nail their colours to the mast... and that colour is pitch black. You see, Hovercraft Pirates may have the attitude and swagger down to a t, but theyve also got the tunes to back up thyre britrocking bluster. 'Enemy' sounds like Therapy? put through a shredder - and is all the more better for it - while 'The World is Still Spinning' is the sort of no-nonsense, foot-to-the-floor anthem that would fill rock clubs. Frontman Paul Blue's vocals might take some getting used to, but it fits the edgy nature of the 11 songs here perfectly and makes `When Our Wake Hits Your Shore` a jolyy (Roger-Sorry) good listen. 4/5”
