Q: What female Artist influenced you the most ? You're brilliant Honeydew !! Love , Lory.XOXO
A: So many of my generation Lory, I love Joan Baez..got the chills listening to her anytime as a young girl. Miriam Makeba, Hugh Masekelas wife, she was African, and sang in her native language clicking and smacking as she sang. Linda Ronstadt..Blue Bayou...Janice Joplin...so fine makes me get those same chills just writing this...the singers of the late 50s whirl round my head to this day..a.m. baby, in the car with mom and dad...listening to the triplets sing, and wail..as you can see I have been training informally since birth I guess.
