“Norris Aubrey (Bubba) Rucker (born May 20, 1964) is an American drummer best known for his work with the Charleston South Carolina based hard rock band, WARHEAD. (www.fnarecords.com) Currently working with WARHEAD and the band HOLLYWOOD (www.reverbnation.com/hollywood) (WARHEAD) - Warhead formed in 1981 when guitarists Greg Metts and Bob Emerson met while attending the University of South Carolina. Lex Scott (vocals) and fellow USC student, Erol Denizkurt (bass) were soon recruited. Bubba Rucker (drums) was the last piece of the puzzle added to round out Warhead’s solid lineup – a lineup that would never deviate or change course.”

"HOLLYWOOD" : #1 Again
(Columbia SC) - For the second time in six weeks, the Rock band "HOLLYWOOD" from Columbia SC,(www.myspace.com/hotwood) has hit the #1 Spot on the Wild Plum Most Listened to Music Chart. Wild Plum is one of the most popular musical sites in the UK.... iSOUND.COM,”
“The 1980s scene was enormous, with bands playing night after night on every boulevard or street. In the early 90s the music climate changed and all the thousands of bands that played the typical American Dream Rock and Roll a la KISS, AEROSMITH, MOTLEY CRUE went down like a rocket. Happily, all over the USA new bands pop up that play this classic American Hard Rock style. One of these bands is the South Carolina based band HOLLYWOOD. Their CD is filled with 80s American Metal and It does sound quite good, especially when the singer starts sounding like a typical LA band from the 1980s (almost in a PRETTY BOY FLOYD/MOTLEY CRUE style). Songs like Boulevard of dreams (strong semi melodic rocker), Every word I never said (80s Power Ballad a la WARRANT) and King of the mountain (heaviest song, with even some prog metal influences!) are a must to hear if youre into this kind of rock. Better check out HOLLYWOOD.

“Hollywood comes from United States and they started before two years as a rock cover band, but while the time passed they wrote their own songs and released their latest self financed album with their name as title.
Musically the band walks in the rock paths of Kiss, Aerosmith, Whitesnake and Motley Crue. So basically their music is in the rock side, but also they have a rock ‘n roll atmosphere and few glam rock touches spotted in the whole album.
The band offer us ten songs and about forty minutes of pure music, with well worked compositions and some typical for the rock music ideas. We can’t say that Hollywood has found a new way to the rock music, but at least they play rock straight from their heart and this you can feel it, if you listen to their album.
I am sure that the fans of rock music will adore the stuff from Hollywood, well played rock music here.”

“Well I guess you really can't judge a book by it's cover…
As it turns out, The CD kicks off with "Too Late Train", which is a great piece with a cool groove & drive.
"All Night" sounds a bit typical 80's, but with a nice chorus. "Blvd. Of Dreams" could have been a Foxy Roxx tune. Dead on Foxy, & that is a compliment. "Every Word I Never Said",- If you love ballads, you might want to play this one at your high school prom."Shot Down In Love" pure sleaze with a guitar tone & vocal style that makes me think of Ratt with some of Out Of The Cellar. "Get Off", "King Of The Mountain", "Fools Paradise", & "I Got The Girl" all range from strong to very strong rock numbers of Sleaze with some of that 80's LA style. If that's the stuff you enjoy, you really should be ordering this CD. Musicianship is high caliber, and the vocals are damn strong.
This will be in my rotation and will be getting played often, Again, if you like this style, do yourself a favor and check them out.”

“Thank you for taking the time to use your talents to express your support to the Troops and the USA. None of this could be possible if artists like yourself didn't take the time to write songs dedicated to those who truely mattered. We've been working on the album art work all weekend. We will be including a special edition gift for all orders placed before July 4th. If we can prove to the distribution company that this will be successful, marketing and promotions save us alot of money that we can put towards all the charities. Thank you very much again. I really love your song and my 3 yr old goes crazy when it comes on the player.
Much love and respect,
