About Holly's Metro-Knights
suppose You already know me, if you know yourself a lil bit. I love M U S I C. I love My Photography of LIVE MUSIC. I love My Grandma, Erma, who left Earth last year. Her sister, Anita Bates, left 2yrs ago, not before she gave me a guitar that was in her bar "The Red Penny" for 20yrs. The bar(off High Ave & Grand Blvd) was sold & the old Sears & Roebuck Harmony was just given to me, randomly. Grandma's sister introduced my parents, named me & 30yrs later gave me a guitar, thats about all I know of her. ALL the songs I write are in the memory/spirits of Anita & Grandma Erma, watching me/US right now...Raised in Arkansas with newspaper on the walls. FYI: I have zero music training, other than the experiences learned from watching/photographing/being "let in" by the LOCAL OKC MUSICIANS...THANK YOU.
Influences:
The East, The South, The West, The North.... YOU feel me? Grandma's absence influences me, the wind, my children, MY HEART, MY CITY, THE WORLD. I suppose the strings on my guitar influence me...mainly though, peace influences me.
