About

Welcome to the World of High Road Music;

  Dan Tremblay IS High Road Music and his music is the result of his own personal writings and recordings. It is very regrettable that there is no band to support the music that Dan writes and records. Dan plays all of the instruments and sings all of the vocal parts of his songs himself and has had tha time of his life in the process.

  Dan had spent many years playing in various Souther Rock/Top 4o Bands in a local circuit of Florida nearby where he lived during the 80's and 90's. In 2003, Dan moved to the Northeast where joining active bands or finding available musicians to form an active band were few and far between. This resulted in his creation of a small recording studio in his home and beginning in March of 2006 to write and record original music of his own. This project was completed in September 2006 at which time the CD "Slow Dance" was released. A compilation of 10 songs beginning with the song "Slow Dance", his first effort at writing and recording, and mixing and mastering. You can hear the rough texture of the first song as he left in the impurities, as he did with many of his songs in order to leave in the "Live" sound of his music. Dan is always happy with leaving a "Human" quality to his songs and feels that the songs are much more enjoyable to listen to in this way.

  Dan is currently working on new songs in an effort to release his 2nd CD whenever he can amass enough material, and to rebuild his studio in a new place. 2007 found Dan leaving the Northeast and driving cross country to California in an effort to make music his life with playing and possibly in music publishing. This was a short lived dream that went awry rather quickly and found him relocating several times, with him landing in Arkansas where he now resides. He is currently resettling and re-establishing his life to begin again with his writing and recording. And soon will begin the recording process again. Dan's trek across country has certainly garnered many more things to write about as he met and befriended many people along the way. He has had the opportunity to meet some fantastic bands and musicians along the way as well as to meet some recording professionals that helped him to learn much more about the recording industry, as well as some much needed recording tricks of the trade, as well as tools to complete his next project with.

  It has been a very long and difficult road, but the future is wide open and he continues his love of music and his dream to release much more music from the heart. His favorite saying is "Listening to Music Soothes the Soul, Playing Music Sets it Free." So it is our hope that you will support ALL Indie/original Artists and show your support for the heart and soul and passion that they always put into their music. Feel free to leave comments, join our mailing list and become a fan of High Road Music.
