“Great acoustic music with a good swift kick in the a**!!!”
"Sounds kinda like Bob Dylan and Elliott Smith's love child, ugly kid but very talented."
“I personally think that ALL THE SINNERS is up there with his finest musical work. Gentle, lamenting, like a Mantra from the highest mountain you just can't ignore. Call me old-fashioned or a little sentimental, but this shit gets me right there!!!”
“The tracks slice deep through the genre clutter with a groove that grabs my soul hard!”
“AHA! Blood Stained Corduroy! The lyrics are excellent! Friggin' sweet as always! Did you realize that doing the Judas Dance in time with the song opens a gateway to another dimension? Oh yeah, that's right. KEEP KICKIN ASS AND PULLIN TRIGGERS!!!”
“Love the independant nature of the music. Keep the originality going. There are not too many artists that follow the song in their mind and heart.”
“kinda like johnny cash without june in a motel room howling at the g-ddamn moon”
“ALL THE SINNERS and some of the others are so Dylan-esque...I love that. They are like dusty, dirty tales...YEAH! And CHRISTMAN really blew me away... I love hearing that pumped up rocked out stuff, so keep that coming as well. Rock on HC!”
“Exceptional work! Love the name as well. "All the Sinners" is a real find. The vocals are beautiful and make me feel a bit nostalgic. Makes it all worth it to come into contact with quality music.”
"The lead singer's voice is one of those that only comes along every once in a while. It has a hypnotic quality. It reminded me of another vocalist - one who was popular when I was a child - an artist that was able to mesmerize me in a like fashion. I hope that I don't insult this man when I say that he reminded me a little of Tennessee Ernie Ford. While Tennessee's genre was completly different than that of this artist, his vocal talent demanded attention. So does the vocal purity of this artist. Tennessee's voice demanded respect, as does the voice of this artist. This artist deserves to be heard by the masses. It is unfortunate that this song is too politically incorrect to allow that to happen. Even so, the song and the band is well worth noting for future reference."
"Realistic and Heavy-The lyrics tell a story of hardship and uncertainty, and it's written with brutal, unflinching honestly. I've really only seen lyrics this heavy in classic blues, so finding it in this genre is intriguing, but certainly not unwelcome. The melody is catchy, especially with the inclusion of acoustic guitar, but it's very simple, and it matches the overall mood of the track. The weight of the lyrics hold you down, just like the tragic Captain the lyrics speak of."
