HeLO is a high energy Alt/Indie ensemble based out of the Washington DC metro area. The band consists of John Ireland on Guitar and Vox, Ron Mitchell on Guitar and Vox, Soren Bakken on Bass and Vox and Raymond Yrue on Drums and Vox. HeLO's members bring to the table a combined 20 years of professional music industry experience as well a sound mastery of their instruments and song writing abilities. HeLO’s mission is to write and perform original music that doesn't sound exactly like everything else on the radio. HeLO strives to produce thoughtful, well-crafted songs with commercial viability but without the typical constraints of a genre-based band format. Whether we succeed or fail, is beside the point. What matters is, we like it (and hope you do too). HeLO’s all-original material is upbeat, sonically pleasing and masterfully dynamic. HeLO’s sound can be categorized in the Post-punk Alt. Rock/Indie genres, but that does not completely reflect the flavor and tones the band delivers. HeLO’s music is intelligent, edifying and will leave you wanting more.
