We are two guitarists who seek other muso's for walks on the beach... Actually we don't, as the guitars will rust in the salt. But hey, it got you reading this drivel huh? BUT - we are two guitarists looking to form something a little unusual - our influences go from things like Queensryche/Savatage/Stratovarius on to things like Satch/Nightwish and bands like Ozzy and Priest.... Between us we probably cover a large music collection, not all of it fashionable but fashions come and go - good music is forever. BASICALLY something quite melodic, with tints of darkness and not just headbanging frenzy - although that will have its place! We like to mix light with dark, heavy with light and clean with thrash - but this isn't going to be one-tempo, one rhythm. Particularly with the vocalist, we want someone who can actually sing. There's a place for screaming, but what we're looking for is someone who knows when to croon Not a covers/tribute type thang - we're looking to write with the right muso's music that will stand out. We've both played a little while, and looking to create music not just 'x' muso's showing off chops. The song is the focus, and if we get to look cool and pretend to be stars along the way then that will be just a bonus.... We're looking for anyone interested in doing something along those lines OR to join in with slightly different focus and help create a unique sound. Age - unimportant but dedication and commitment is. All we ask is an open mind - we're in our thirties, but not ready for the pipe/slippers and soft rock yet.. so bear in mind we're probably a little more focussed and aware of what we want then you youngsters with your strange shoes and modern gadgets That is, we're not against any age group, but bear in mind we're not star-struck teenagers with a first guitar We've bought our second and saving up our pennies for the third one with the spangles and the glitter....
