///Growing up, classical music made up the soundtrack. Both my parents are musicians, and there was music on every floor of the small row house in the Copenhagen suburb Virum. After learning how to walk, I walked the straight line into music high school, playing in bands, singing in choirs, and eventually ending up at the conservatory in Copenhagen. But suddenly it seemed to me there were no roads left untaken. So like Pinocchio, I decided to cut my strings, afraid that I’d never learn to stand on my own two feet. This is the music that came out of it.. Hope you like it!/// //In the past, I’ve written songs with several established Danish and international songwriters; the American singer songwriter Kim Richey (the song “The Absence of Your Company” is on her 2007 album “Chinese Boxes”. The song was recently featured on the American TV series “Grey’s Anatomy”). I’ve also written songs with Itaal Shur (Rob Thomas, Santana, Maxwell), Phil Galdston (Celine Dion, Vanessa Williams, Brandy) and Jeff Cohen (Macy Grey, Teitur) In 2006 I Co-wrote and sang on the gold selling hitsingle “Kig forbi” on the Danish rapper Johnson’s debut album.//
