Inspired by the 1976 television series "The Gong Show" and the world famous Apollo Theatre in New York City, ATL APOLLO was born to provide opportunity and discovery for amateurs in the area of performing arts, along with clean entertainment for all. Encouraging talent of hopefuls from age fifteen and older, the monthly show held in Austell, GA at the all new Riverside EpiCenter, is formulated to become one of the biggest talent competitions in the southeast. At a time when classic performing arts can bring wholesome family friendly entertainment, ATL APOLLO fills the void for ongoing, consistent enjoyment. ATL APOLLO will awe its audience with talented singers, dancers, musicians, and other talent from all over the south. We all know that some talent may be questionable but sincere. A vision of Executive Producer, Angela R. Brown, ATL APOLLO is long overdue for its major host city, Atlanta. Atlanta has delivered such an array of talent to the world of entertainment through music and the arts, it is inherent to brace the show and give the world a glimpse of how this city at large cheers on good talent! Each show is graced with an honorable guest comedic MC, adding ongoing bombshell entertainment. The ATL APOLLO house band will give you music to feel the groove of the evening, while the DJ keeps the crowd in spontaneous spins. Every seat is a good seat with a sound quality capable of literally knocking you off our feet. ATL APOLLO is a six series event, happening each first Tuesday of the month. Each show will produce one winner who will win cash and prizes. At the end of each series will be one Grand Prize Winner. All shows and auditions will be recorded for web based streaming.
