Bio

Haddonfield are 4 guys playing fast tuneful punk in the vein of Face To Face / Alkatine Trio / Clash.

They come from Wales, UK.

About

Haddonfield formed in late 2004 and recorded 3 tracks in 3 days at a friends in-house studio for their first demo 'And Deliver Us From Evil' in 2005 which the band would go on to make hundreds of copies of to give out to people at shows.

Their first show was at a Animal Rights Benefit show at TJ's, Newport- August 14th-2005. Slowly the band began to build momentum and started to make a name for themselves by taking the attitude of not sticking within a scene and opting instead to play with whomever they could. Haddonfields constant gigging landed them shows with the likes of: The Adolescents, The Misfits, UK Subs, Drongo’s For Europe, Osaka Pop Star (Ft Markey Ramone), Against All Authority, 4ft Fingers, Spunge, Dopamine, Adequate 7(rip), Zico Chain, The Guns, Midasuno(rip), Grown At Home, Random Hand, Said Mike and many local bands across the UK.

Late 2006 saw the recording of the bands first EP, “Bar Brawls and Downfalls”, which was part produced by both Greg Haver (Manic Street Preachers) and Nick Lloyd (Midasuno).
The CD was released in early 2007 on indie label Thousand-Yard Stereo and went on to receive some great reviews from the International Punk/rock press and was even given a thumbs up from Trever Keith of the Californian punk rock band, Face to Face.
April of 2007 saw the bands EP getting chosen as Record of the Week on Steve Lamacqs Online Radio show 6-music.
More recently, their next single 'Panic' has been played on Radio 1 and alongside 'Romero', have been used on 2 seperate Subbacultcha podcasts. 'Panic' was also recently used in Channel 4's 'Freesports On 4' extreme sports programme.

Haddonfield recorded brand new tracks for their debut 7" vinyl release on Seven Inch Records in Cardiff with Chris Affixion in Dec '07.

Artwork for the single was supplied by their longtime friend Steve @13 Dead.

The boys toured across the UK in May 08 with A New Day and introduced a brand new set of tunes to try out live before re-entering the studio to record their debut album with Todd Campbell. During this time, Glenn joined Four Letter Word as a stand - in drummer and has been playing regularly with the band throughout 2009, along with another side band, Accident Music. Glenn finally decided in May 2009 to join Four Letter Word full time and left Haddonfield.

Haddonfield will be releasing the final track featuring Glenn on an up coming Seven Records compilation 'Fiercely Independent'.  They already have a new drummer, whom they will be announcing shortly following a couple of low key shows to bed him in.

The plan for the rest of 2009 is to start recording new tracks for an acoustic split EP and finish the album for a 2010 release, followed by a tour of both the UK and Europe.
